Foundation for Economic Education Launches AI Chatbot

The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) has launched AI Pencil, a new AI chatbot to help answer questions about free enterprise philosophy and economics.

“We’re proud to be techno-optimists at FEE,” states an announcement posted Monday, Nov. 11, on fee.org. “We see emerging technology not just as a tool but as a pathway to transformative impact, particularly in economic education. In a world where access to quality information is crucial, artificial intelligence can empower individuals and inspire intellectual curiosity in the principles of free societies.”

Consecutively ranked among the top think tanks in the U.S., FEE has advanced the ideas and principles of free enterprise, liberty and liberty of government for over 75 years.

“FEE has long championed the ideas of economic freedom and individual responsibility. As part of our commitment to making these complex economic concepts accessible, we’re thrilled to introduce our newest tool: AI Pencil. With this digital assistant, we bring the power of our knowledge base directly to you,” states FEE’s Nov. 11 announcement. “AI Pencil is more than a search engine; it’s designed to be an educational companion that answers your questions using FEE’s digital library.”

To use AI Pencil, visit fee.org and type in your question to the AI Pencil chatbot in the bottom right corner of the homepage. AI Pencil will then search FEE’s digital library to provide you with relevant and accessible responses.

“AI Pencil now offers a third way to explore our website content: it’s not only browsing or searching; it’s now conversing. Unlike general search engines, AI Pencil’s responses are uniquely curated and rooted in the principles that define FEE’s mission: to inspire, educate, and connect future leaders with the economic, ethical, and legal principles of a free society,” Monday’s announcement states. “This tool is more than just an innovation; it’s a statement of our belief that technology can bring out the best in human potential. We see it as a bridge between our resources and the questions our users ask.”
